Equipping YOU for life-long health and wellness, and a closer walk with God! yourteam@equipped4more.com

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]The “Battle of the Bulge.”  A never ending battle for so many of us.  Each and everyday we fight temptations at work, home, and even church.  It seems as though satan knows just where and when to place that one temptation we just can’t overcome.  An example, you ask?  Well, it just so happens I have one.  Picture this, it’s January 1st, and our entire family has decided to take part in a 21 day fast.  What are we fasting?  Processed sweets, like cakes, cookies, donuts, candy, you get the idea.  Along with that we have decided to give up soda, and chips.  We are all onboard, and ready to go, when in pops my parents for a visit with their grandchildren and what are they toting?  Not one, but TWO boxes of specialty chocolates they just wanted to share!  Now tell me satan doesn’t try every trick in the book. (Shame on him for using my parents to get to us, right?  But that’s exactly how he operates.)  We made through, and the candy is in the freezer awaiting us on Jan. 21st!  Through that experience, I just wanted to encourage you with what we learned from this encounter about battling satan on a health and wellness journey.  Here’s what we concluded:

  1. We must get excited about our journey.  When my parents popped in with that candy, it was easy to see that we could all have become very frustrated about “what we couldn’t have” for the next 21 days; that candy being at the top of the list.  Instead, we are choosing to embrace the fact that satan lost a major battle, and there are great blessings awaiting those who stay the course.  This is so true for all who overcome temptations on their weight loss journey!
  2. We need to ask God for help.  Following only our flesh provides enough motivation to get through the first day; maybe!  We need to ask God constantly to help us find the courage to walk out the journey.  Ask Him daily to give you everything you need to be successful on your weight loss journey.
  3. We cannot do this alone.  We have chosen to fast as a family partly because there is power in numbers.  We can be there for one another, and encourage one another when the battle seems too much for us on our own.   The same is true on a weight loss journey.  Community equals success.  And there is no greater community of successful women encouraging one another on a daily basis, and finding success, than in our E4M Community.  Learn more about how we are losing weight, and growing in our walk with the Lord by following the link HERE
  4. The battles we face are only temporary.  We have successfully made it through the first week on our fast, and are quickly realizing it will all be over soon, and when it is, we get to celebrate!  The same is true for you, sweet friend, on your weight loss journey.  When you stay the course, seek God in the journey, asking Him to help you find joy, you will soon get to celebrate all your success!

At E4M, we would love to walk alongside you on your weight loss journey.  Countless women are losing weight for the VERY LAST TIME, and growing deeply in their walk with the Lord!  If this sounds fabulous to you, wait no more!  Join our E4M family today.  We can’t wait to share in your testimony![/vc_column_text][vc_btn title=”I WANT TO LEARN MORE” style=”3d” shape=”round” color=”turquoise” size=”lg” align=”center” css_animation=”top-to-bottom” link=”url:https%3A%2F%2Fequipped4more.com%2Fhow-it-works%2F|||”][/vc_column][/vc_row]
